Hooray for Cygnet… A theatre that continually finds hidden talents amongst San Diego actors! Manny Fernandes as Marketing Director, Veronica Murphy as Development Director, Jason Heil as Development Associate, Francis Gercke as Associate Artistic Director and now Daren Scott as Photographer Extraordinaire! I’ll be working on my third costume design for Cygnet this month! By hiring actors to display their “other talents” amid Cygnet’s inner-workings, Sean and Bill have provided the ability to make a living in a city that would be nearly impossible to survive on artistic endeavors alone. The added bonus of working amongst talented actors with the same ultimate goal (outstanding theatre!) creates a cohesiveness and energy that is hard to beat.
